Buckwheat Hot Cereal

Phase 1 or 2

  • Soak buckwheat overnight in water.
  • Cook buckwheat per directions on package. 
  • Add unsweetened non-dairy milk to taste.
  • Add pinch of salt, 6 or so drops stevia, a dash of cinnamon to taste.
  • Other add-in options: chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, almond butter, vanilla extract, shredded coconut, etc.  
  • I like Pocono Cream of Buckwheat brand available at Sprouts, Mothers, and Whole Foods. Qi’a Grain free Cereal should work similarly.
  • Phase 2 add-in options: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, dates (if test for)
