Air Fryer Asian Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 3 medium green onions, finely chopped (greens and whites separated)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
  • Avocado oil, preferanbly spray
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil

  • Optional: sesame seeds and/or fresh cilantro for topping

Directions:

  • Crack the egg into a medium bowl and beat with a fork. Add the almond flour, garlic, ginger, scallion whites, and coconut aminos. Mix to combine.
  • Add the turkey or chicken. Mix to combine, being careful not to over-mix.
  • Roll mixture into 16 evenly sized meatballs and place on a parchment lined sheet pan.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with avocad oil.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Add the meatballs in an even layer, cooking in batches if needed. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway.
  • Alternatively, you can bake the meatballs in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  • Drizzle with sesame oil and sp
