Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 scoops protein powder (see Whole Food Nutrtion Guide for brand recommendations)
  • 1 handful lightly steamed then frozen zucchini
  • 1 handful of frozen leafy greens like swiss chard
  • 1 cup unsweetened nut/seed milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 handful of ice
  • Chia, flax or hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp nut/seed butter (optional)
  • 1/2 avocado (optional – will be more like a smoothie bowl)

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients together.
