Paleo Butter and Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup ghee or Miyoko’s Butter
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions:

  • In a sauce pan, melt ghee over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and let cook for 1 min.
  • Add in arrowroot flour and whisk to combine.
  • Pour 1/2 cup coconut milk and whisk.
  • When sauce begins to get slightly thick, add in the other 1/2 cup of coconut milk, parsley and basil.
  • Continue to whisk for a few minutes until sauce becomes thick.
  • Serve over shirataki or hearts of palm noodles, baked chicken, or veggies.
