Is this your first visit? Here’s how to get started.

Getting Started: Initial Consultation and First Visit

Your initial consultation consists of two visits lasting up to 90 minutes each. During your first visit, you will spend approximately 30 minutes informing us of your current health and allowing us to better understand your symptoms. It is important that you bring a complete list of all medications, vitamins and supplements you are currently taking. We will discuss your goals and understand what symptoms you are experiencing. Then we will perform the following non-invasive tests:

  • PH test: Identifies how your stomach acid is doing. Is it breaking down your fats?
  • Zinc test: Determines if zinc is  lacking in some of your organs
  • Computerized Heart Rate Variability (HRV) test: Watch your health score improve as you heal. This is the same test administered by the Mayo Clinic
  • Calcium test: Are you low on calcium; is your calcium being assimilated?
  • Nutrition Response Testing: A non-invasive system of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of a client’s symptoms

Second Visit

We will review your Report of Findings, which details the results from your first visit tests. We take time to answer any and all questions you may have including what is causing your symptoms. We then present you with your Personalized Natural Healing Plan. If you are in need of treatment outside of our expertise, we will refer you to a trusted specialist.

We know from working with many clients that moving to a healthier, happier, and more balanced body and lifestyle means changing long-held habits. We’ve developed guidelines, education programs, and workshops to help you succeed and be on your journey to healthful living.

As always, our staff has one purpose – and that is to listen and support you, every step of the way.

We ask that you follow our guidelines to ensure a successful outcome:

  • Follow-up visits generally take 10 minutes or less. Extended visits, though rarely needed, are charged proportionally. In order to best serve you during your follow–up visits, write down your questions and let the practitioner know about these at the beginning of the visit. If you have questions in between visits, feel free to contact your Patient Advocate, a complimentary value-added service to our clients.

  • Fill out your Food Diary as you eat each meal, snack, etc. between visits.

  • Please keep in mind that our nutritional products DO NOT cause “side effects” as they are not drugs.  Occasionally after starting a nutritional program, you may feel a temporary worsening or even feel “sick.”  If this occurs, do NOT cancel your appointment. Immediately call the office. Sometimes these “flare-ups” are actually a “Healing Crisis” which indicates your body is starting to heal by throwing off toxins that have been keeping you sick.  By fine-tuning your program, we can help you get through these types of situations much more smoothly, if they occur. It’s important to come in when you are not feeling well, so we can fine-tune your program and help you correct the underlying cause of the problem more rapidly.

  • It is REQUIRED that you attend at least one of our education workshops within the first four weeks of your program. This is for YOUR own benefit.  Each workshop is approximately 1 hour — it’s like getting six office visits ABSOLUTELY FREE. We encourage you to bring a friend or family member who is supportive of you coming to our office for care. This would allow them to see and better understand what exactly it is we do. If they choose to also be a client, this would be to your benefit as we’ve seen that when our clients have someone to go through the program with them, the results are faster improvements and better results.

  • Please consider all the dynamics in your life that could interfere with or prevent you from doing or completing your health improvement program.  If you need assistance in working out how to handle any obstacles in your quest for better health, please contact your patient advocate.

  • If you are taking additional supplements, vitamins, etc., please bring them with you on your next visit to be tested. Even though these products may be good, they may not be good for you at this time. If you are continuing to take supplements or prescriptions that have not been recommended through Nutrition Response Testing, please bring them with you at each visit.

  • It is highly recommended that you set up your first six (6) follow-up appointments – our schedule fills up quickly and we want to make sure we are able to accommodate your schedule needs. If you are having cold laser therapy, this must be scheduled with the front office as an additional appointment. We can normally schedule back-to-back appointments for Nutrition and Laser if scheduled in advanced.

At Natural Healing Center, we want to ensure that everyone has access to natural healing, so we offer flexible payment options and plans for all budgets.

Be sure to check with your insurance plan – a growing number of health insurance plans cover our services.

We are happy to provide you with a health service coded invoice to submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. Be sure to check with your insurance plan – a growing number of health insurance plans cover our services.

We do accept credit cards, checks, HSAs and payment plans. Our package pricing is very affordable when compared with higher deductibles that many insurance plans currently carry.

Natural healing is a process – and takes some time for your body to change its course and start feeling better. The first step is making that commitment to change your nutrition and lifestyle habits. Once you have taken that step of commitment, things will begin to fall into place.

The more closely you follow the procedures we outline, the sooner you will notice results and be able to move on to other steps: Fill out your Food Diary as you eat each meal, snack, etc. between visits.  Make it a habit to do it this way and not wait until the end of the day or later. This will ensure accurate information for the practitioner.

Have questions?  Great!  We have answers.

What is Nutrition Response Testing?

Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of symptoms.  This clinically proven—and highly accurate—system provides the practitioner with bodily feedback so precise that it can open the door to safe and lasting recovery, even where everything else has failed.

How quickly will I see results?

It depends on the kind of unease and issues you currently face. Many people see results in the first weeks, especially with detox diet plans and nutritional changes. Read our success stories to hear reports from our patients. We do ask you to be patient and think long term about health and wellness. A good rule of thumb to consider is that you should anticipate one month of healing for every year of unease.

Do you prescribe drugs or pharmaceuticals?

We do not prescribe pharmaceuticals. We believe in using only holistic care methods and natural supplements. The nutritional supplements that we carry are made from whole food and are created by reputable companies with the highest quality and ethical standards. We also practice what we teach in our own personal lives – we use these methods for our own health.

Do you accept health insurance?

We believe in providing everyone with natural health care, so we offer flexible payments plans to ensure that everyone has access to natural healing. We are happy to provide you with a coded invoice to submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. Be sure to check with your insurance plan – a growing number of insurance plans cover our services. We do accept credit cards, checks, HSAs and payment plans. Our package pricing is very affordable when compared with higher deductibles that many insurance plans currently carry.

How long is an appointment?

To save time on your visits, write down your questions and let the practitioner know about these at the beginning of the visit.  In between visits, it is highly recommended that you take up any questions with your Patient Advocate, who is available on a complimentary basis to assist you.
